Miss Chloe joined Gotta Dance in 2022 and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BA in Dance. She began her formal training at New Jersey School of Ballet, under the tutelage of Natasha Girshov. She then studied for two years at the JKO School at American Ballet Theatre, with Harriet Clark and Mikhail Ilyin. Her summers and winters were spent studying the Vaganova method under Mariinsky ballerinas such as Elena Sherstneva, Ekaterina Schelkanova, and Irina Kolpakova in New York and Latvia, which instilled a deep love for tradition, artistry, and joy. She has also been accepted to various summer intensives such as American Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, and French Academie of Ballet.
In the UK Dance Program, she pivoted from ballet to modern, jazz, and contemporary, studying under Theresa Bautista, Susie Thiel, Laura Neese, and Halie Bahr. She appeared in various productions, including “Finding the Common Essence” (2020), Once Vacant, Bodies in Motion…Still (2021), “Conformity” (2021), and “The Art of Exchange” (2022). Her choreography was selected for “Materialized” (2020). She was also a member of LUME Dance in 2020, studying with renowned choreographers Monika Felice Smith and MaryAnn Chavez.
