Gillian

Gillian Petersen has been with Gotta Dance since 1992 both as a student and a teacher. She has a Bachelor of the Arts from Montclair State University where she studied both dance and the visual arts. Gillian has performed and/or choreographed for Trilogy Repertory Company, Ridge Light Opera, Hexagon Players, and Nikki Manx Dance Project. Her onstage dance credits include works by Twyla Tharp and Yvonne Rainer as well as collaborative and self-choreographed work. At Gotta Dance, Gillian teaches Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. Gillian is currently the Nutcracker Dance Ensemble Manager & Nutcracker Dance Ensemble Co-Director at Gotta Dance after dancing with them for most of her formative years.
