Jackie

Jackie Carelli is a passionate dance educator and choreographer based in New Jersey. She holds a Master’s (EDM) in Dance Education for PK-12 public and private schools from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education; she currently serves as a dance educator at a public middle school and previously oversaw a public high school dance program. Additionally, she has also instructed dance in a private school for students with mental, physical, and emotional (dis)abilities. Jackie obtained her BFA in Dance from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2017. While at Rutgers, she spent a year studying abroad at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, England. In London, she additionally interned with the dance company Candoco, an inclusive, multi-disability dance company. She is certified as an Acrobatics Instructor through Acrobatic Arts Module 1 (2017) and Module 2 (2021) 200-HR Vinyasa Yoga Instructor through OM Factory NYC (2017) a Sugarfoot Instructor (2024) and Axila Flexibility (2024). Jackie is a competition dance judge with One Beat Dance Brands, which comprises the competitions Breakout, Beyond the Stars, Groove and Reverb. Alongside overseeing a public school program and adjudicating. In addition to instructing in both public schools and dance studios, Jackie is a guest teacher and award-winning choreographer for multiple competitive teams.
